To obtain a plenary indulgence, the faithful must:

1-Be truly sorry. 2-Exclude all affection for sin.

3-Be moved by a spirit of charity.

4-Purify yourself through the sacrament of penance or confession.

5-Receive Holy Communion.

6-Pray for the Pope's intentions.
